For 2016, I've decided step back from plans for any photography workshops. I had talked with several people about going to Acadia National Park or back to the Tetons, but I've decided to put those plans on hold back for a year and concentrate on a few other projects. What's taking the place of the workshops? Here's a short list of my projects this year!
*Getty Images is now representing more than a thousand images from my portfolio, and I'm working to make more of that catalogue available for digital, print, and commercial licensing.
*I'm doing several outdoor art shows exclusively with black and white prints out of my darkroom (yes, a real, old school darkroom with chemicals and negatives). The preparation for those shows is very time intensive!
*I'll be spending more time in the field looking for wildlife and filming high-res stop-motion video clips to license as part of my Getty Images collection.
*I'm also actively trying to complete work on two book projects; one about Kansas City, one about the National Parks. Both are great projects, and both are begging for my time!
I plan to be in Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and maybe Oregon during June, July, and August. If you're there, and I'm there, maybe there's a chance we can meet up out in the wild! Shoot me a text. There's a chance we can go out in the field together.
